The Falafel King Bristol has long been one of my favourite places to eat in Bristol and I thought I would review it for you guys. It’s a local restaurant with two venues in Bristol, one in Cotham Hill just off Whiteladies Road and a small food truck in the city centre next to the fountains and it is literally the only place that I eat falafel.
The upstairs is a cute little café but downstairs is this beautiful little grotto filled with cushions and lanterns where you can sit and eat, it even has a secret garden around the back where you can smoke shisha.
It has a huge variety of food to choose from but my favourites are the Falafel in pitta and the Falafel mezze platter, which are both basically warm bread, freshly cooked falafels and salad with home-made hummus but the platter is obviously a more deconstructed version.
The food here is absolutely authentic and amazing and I totally recommend it to anyone, sometimes it can get really busy but the food and the atmosphere is so worth the wait.
