The Lazy Girl’s Guide To Beauty

So I’m just too busy and tired of being pro-active with my beauty regime so this is the lazy girl’s guide to beauty when you just can’t be bothered to spend hours primping but still want to take care of yourself. These are all products I use all the time, and they do actually fit into my lazy regime!

Don’t want to spend ages applying foundation? To get smooth, flawless looking skin for almost no hassle just apply primer on its own. This Too Faced Primed & Poreless primer is the one I use but it can easily be exchanged for a cheaper version (Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser works just as well).

I am just not willing to carry my makeup bag around with me and re-apply my face, it’s just not going to happen so this Urban Decay setting spray is a must for me every day, it promises to preserve your makeup for 16 hours and pretty much delivers. Makes my life 10x easier to not have to think about my makeup getting smudged up.

Can’t be bothered to look through multiple pallets for different eye shadow looks? Too Faced’s Natural Eye palette is literally the easiest thing in the world. The top 3 shadows are for a day look, middle 3 are for evenings and bottom 3 are for going out, literally the easiest to use palette ever. I have the older version which is more shimmery, I think it’s a limited edition but you can find the newer version here they have pretty much the same colours.

This Eyeko skinny brush mascara is the best because it will never come off. I wear it to my waitress job every morning (think being blasted in the face with steam every 3 minutes) and it never even smudges and I don’t have to reapply it at all throughout the day.

I swear there will never be a day when I don’t promote Micellar Water, all you have to do is wipe your makeup away with a cotton pad and you’re done!

Who can be bothered with this BS?

Ok, we can’t avoid face wash forever, I keep mine in the shower so I can just use it in there every time I need to wash my hair, it takes the hassle right out of it.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Gel Wash is easy to use and smells really good.

This weird thing is actually a Magic Food banana sleeping pack by Tony Moly, it’s not too expensive and all you have to do is to is put it on before you go to bed, no need to wash it off. It keeps your skin really well moisturised without being oily.

Finally, Body Shop moisturisers are the best for keeping your skin soft and they smell great! My favourite is peach but everyone has their own preference they do pretty much every fruit you can imagine and some flowers too.

I think we all know that dry shampoo is a must for all lazy girls, Batiste is definitely the best brand out there.

Obviously, it’s a pain to have to use hair masks and go for haircuts all the time because of split ends, so investing in a high-quality shampoo and conditioner is a good idea. I hate using watery/runny conditioner so this Palmer’s Cocoa Butter one is perfect for me, it smells nice and is thick enough to actually work really well. The OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo is a little on the expensive side but it keeps my hair really soft and shiny.

Last but not least, instead of buying expensive whitening kits and having to wear them every day just replace your regular Colgate with some Charcoal toothpaste, it requires 0 extra effort and whitens your teeth for you naturally!

And there you have it guys the lazy girls guide to beauty! I hope this helps if you can be bothered that is…
